A representative of the Luther Fire Department will be present as the guest reader for Story Hour. Activity will be the decorating and eating of a cookie. Bake Sale, to benefit the Luther Fire Department's purchase of a Rescue Sled, will be happening as well.

TuesdayMiLibraryQuest: Summer Edition 2021
MiLibraryQuest is a digital scavenger hunt put on by libraries across Michigan for teens across the state. Teens, Grades 6-12, will have an opportunity to learn about unique animals and Michigan libraries in conjunction with this summer's theme for the Summer Reading Program, Tails and Tales! Teens will find descriptions of a variety of animals spread across the websites of about 170 participating libraries. Teens could also win a prize from their library!

Our presenter Ethan will use Zoom and planetarium software to penetrate the night sky over Detroit. Then they will fly us to each planet in the solar system, plus Pluto. (You do know that Pluto is now classed as a "dwarf planet", don't you?) You can also learn about what each planet is like.
